Focusing on gratitude while experiencing expansion pains

Hey Reader,

Speaking of sharing gifts and gratitude to serve, here are the details and sign up for the channeling workshop I’ll be giving at Wild Rose in Danvers on November 5th. (Scroll down to Conversations with Collective Spirit.)

Channeled Message:

"Sharing who you are is how you connect. What you call service to others is connection with others. You share who you are through your skills and abilities, the manifestations of who you are. Serving others is just another way of saying I’m sharing who I am with you so that you can see how we fit, how we are one. By sharing them you not only feel fully connected to yourself you feel fully connected to others. It is the joy that you bring. You bring the joy of you to others."

Martha’s Musing

I was at a networking event last week and chatted with a woman I met when I first started attending the meetings. In July, I inadvertently became a messenger from spirit to let her know that an idea percolating in her mind for her business needed to happen. Now. I also connected her with an opportunity so she could take action.

As we caught up last week, we discussed her experience with this opportunity. It turns out that it was A LOT of work. It brought her to near breaking point on more than one occasion. However, she wasn’t upset about that. Even though it was incredibly challenging, she was grateful for the opportunity.

When we get the go-ahead from spirit to act on inspiration and say yes, we know we are in for a ride. We’re excited to do it because it’s always “right up our alley” and allows us to utilize our unique skills and abilities and do something we genuinely enjoy. And, invariably, we need to share these skills and abilities with others.

We also know that it will stretch us. The whole point is to give us something on the ground to help us expand. Feeling grateful for what you have, in this case, an opportunity, is a fabulous way to improve your attitude and outlook and can even align you with the vibration of miracles. Feeling grateful for the people in your life or that it’s a particularly wonderful day will also do the trick. However, it’s not always easy if the opportunity or whatever you are going through makes you want to tear your hair out.

However, we don’t only have to feel gratitude for what we have or what we receive. We can focus our gratitude on the other side of the equation. We can feel gratitude for our gifts and abilities to share. We can also feel grateful to use them in service to others.

My new (hopefully still) friend was grateful to serve. While going through it, she focused on how she was serving others. While she was grateful to have the opportunity itself, that wasn’t easy to focus on at the time, especially since there wasn’t much else to receive. She was grateful to serve and for the opportunity to share what she had to offer to others.

Journal Prompts

What gifts or abilities do you have that you enjoy sharing with others?

How can you focus on sharing the gift of yourself or offering to share your gifts and abilities?

Take care!

Martha :)

Hey Reader, Enjoy! Channeled Message “You are not alone on your path. We are always her to help you whatever avenues you choose to go down. You can’t get lost, although that’s what it may feel like. If you feel lost, stop, take a breath, and ask for guidance.” Martha’s Musings You’ve probably heard of the “theory of detours,” or how situations or events that are out of your control take you in a direction you didn’t plan. I, for one, get very annoyed at detours when they happen. Take this...

Hey Reader, Quick one today...enjoy! Channeled Messages “It is important not to see yourself as “lesser than” or diminished by what you experience on Earth. Your experiences are not you. The pain you experience is not you and does not change your eternal nature as whole. You are in a process of expansion and no “healing” is necessary.” Martha’s Musings I was scrolling through FB (not something I do very often these days), and I bumped into two posts by a couple of friends talking about...
